Firearms Safety Academy, Inc. is your local licensed FFL dealer and firearm transfer center. In addition to selling firearms, we also facilitate the FFL transfer process for gun purchases made online from out-of-state gun stores or other out-of-state sources. Firearms cannot be shipped directly to you or your home; they must be shipped to an FFL transfer agent. If you are new to purchasing a firearm and having it shipped in, here is how it works:
1.) Purchase your firearm online, from your out-of-state gun shop, or from anyone else.
2.) A gun store will ask for an FFL certificate for the place where you want your firearm shipped. Simply provide the email address where we can send a copy of our FFL certificate to the store you purchased the firearm from. Many places already have our certificate.
3.) Once the gun is purchased, text us a copy of the invoice.
4.) Your 72-hour wait period begins when the gun is ordered.
5.) Once the firearm arrives, we will contact you to complete the 4473 and background check.
